SWAMPER follows the adventures of a talented, young, pool-shark named Jay Thurlow, as he navigates through an underground gambling ring, while facing the generational, socio-economic challenges of entering the workforce during the early 2020's. SWAMPER is an homage to the other 'pool-hustler' style films that came before it; The Hustler - 1961 and Color of Money -1986, yet defines it's own 21st century incarnation of the pool-shark hero, in a bold, blue collar, 'Neo-Realist Indy', black and white.
Phil Neumann wrote, directed and produced the film, along with Alex Quinn and Michael Palmer, who both also starred as supporting characters. Brandon Moon plays the main character, Jay Thurlow, who was chosen outside of the casting process, while most of the supporting cast was selected over two day process, in which actors went through an unusual process of interviews and readings. True to Neo-Realist tradition, some non-actors were also included in the cast.

Micheal Palmer produced and directed the film for the Vancouver Run and Gun film festival competition. Green Thumb was selected as a finalist and won Best Short Film Award at the Erie International Film Festival.
An outlaw with a large bounty on his head is left tied to a railway track. He reveals himself to be the highly valued outlaw to a passer by, in an attempt to negotiate his release as the sound of the approaching train intensifies.
Micheal Palmer directed and starred in the film, while tied to railway tracks, he won the Hollywood Blvd. Film festival award for best actor and the film is navigating a successful festival run.
Two best friends decide to enter a film festival competition and try to win buy creating a documentary about a strange phenomenon. A series of interviews with survivors leads them on an unexpected trip.

BC*Buds makes it a reality, a light-hearted bro comedy with gangsters, surfers, dominatrixs and the philanthropists that help make it all happen.
